To verify that all IoT SIMs and Soracom services have been cancelled, you can utilize the Terminate account screen in the User Console. This screen acts as a checklist, verifying the status of your SIMs, services, and outstanding payments.
Note: Only the Root user can access the Terminate account screen.
Checking Service Status
- Login to the User Console as the Root user.
- Click your account menu in the upper right corner and select Terminate account.
If all items (such as SIMs and VPG) are displayed as OK, the services have been successfully cancelled.
Understanding Status Messages
If there are active SIMs or services that have not been cancelled, they will appear in red or be marked as incomplete. You must cancel these individual services before proceeding. For information on how to cancel individual services, please refer to the Account Termination documentation.
Unconfirmed Usage Fees
You may see a message in the "Others" column stating: "There is an unconfirmed usage fee."
If the SIM and VPG columns show OK, your services are cancelled. However, the account itself cannot be deleted until the final usage fee is confirmed and paid. This process typically occurs within the first 4 business days of the next month. Once the payment is completed, you can return to this screen to finalize the account deletion.
