The Soracom Air Contract Renewal Charge is an annual fee applied to specific IoT SIMs that have remained in a non-active state for an extended period.
When a SIM is in the Active status, it incurs a basic fee. However, SIMs in Ready, Standby, or Suspended statuses generally do not basic fees. To maintain the line contract for these non-active SIMs, Soracom applies a renewal fee when a SIM remains in one of these statuses for a certain paeriod of time.
