Platform Reliability
Soracom's core platform is designed to take advantage of the security, redundancy, and high-availability features of AWS (Amazon Web Services) Cloud.
Our systems are spread across multiple servers, datacenters, and regions, ensuring that any trouble with one part of our network will not cause any disruption to communications services.
We also utilize automated restore mechanisms that are integrated with our monitoring systems, so that our systems can automatically recover in the event any abnormality is detected.
Maintenance and Uptime
To maintain service quality, Soracom conducts scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. While the platform is built for resilience, cellular sessions or HTTP/MQTT/TCP/UDP sessions may be disconnected during maintenance, and brief packet loss may occur.
