The Error Log displays error messages generated when Soracom services encounter issues, often due to configuration problems.
The following services support error logging. Please see their individual pages for more information on service-specific errors:
- Soracom Air
- Soracom Beam
- Soracom Funnel
- Soracom Harvest
- Soracom Napter
- Soracom Orbit
- Unified Endpoint
Common reasons for error logs include:
- A service configuration does not exist or is disabled.
- A group references a nonexistent credential or certificate.
- The destination server cannot be found (for services like Beam or Funnel).
- The destination server returns an error (for services like Beam or Funnel).
Note: Error logs can only be viewed for the last two weeks. Older logs are not retained.
How to check the error log
You can check the error log using one of the following methods:
Method 1: From the SIM List
Select the target IoT SIM, then click Actions > Check logs.
Method 2: From the Main Menu
Click the Menu button in the top right, then select Logs and Statistics > Error Logs.
