When you set an expiry date/time for your IoT SIM, the behavior depends on the specific Expiry Action you select. Some actions will terminate the connection immediately at the specified time, while others allow the current session to continue until it is closed naturally.
Actions That Stop Communication Immediately
The following actions will forcibly end any existing connections (sessions) at the scheduled time:
- Delete session
- Deactivate
- Suspend
- Terminate
Actions That Allow Communication to Continue
- Do nothing: This action allows any existing connections to continue. However, it will block all future connections, meaning new sessions cannot be established once the current one ends.
