You can upgrade or downgrade your Soracom Lagoon plan at any time from the Soracom User Console.
Note: Lagoon plans can only be managed by the Root user. SAM users cannot change Lagoon plans.
Updating Your Plan
Follow these steps to switch between paid plans (e.g., Maker or Pro) or to upgrade from the Free plan:
- Log in to the User Console.
- Select Menu > Data Storage & Visualization > Soracom Lagoon.
- From the Lagoon sidebar, select Plan & License Packs.
- Select the plan you want to use (e.g., Maker or Pro).
- Click the Update plan button.
- Click Update plan again to confirm.
Your subscription will be updated immediately.
Downgrading to the Free Plan
If you wish to switch from the Maker or Pro plan back to the Free plan, you cannot simply update the plan using the steps above. You must first Unsubscribe from Lagoon and then Subscribe to Lagoon again under the Free plan.
Important: Before downgrading, ensure you delete any dashboards, alerts, or users that exceed the limits of the new plan.
