You can view a SIM's approximate location based on its cellular connection from the User Console. This article explains how to view this information, its limitations, and alternative methods for obtaining location data.
Viewing Location Information
To view a SIM's location information:
- Navigate to the SIM Management screen.
- Select the SIM you wish to see the location for.
- Click the Details button.
- Click the Session details tab.
The location will be displayed on a map within this tab.
Data Source & Limitations
This location information is derived from the OpenCelliD Project, an open-source base station database.
Base station information is added and changed over time. Although the database is regularly updated, some base stations may not be listed. If a SIM is connected to an unlisted base station, its location information cannot be specified and will not be displayed on the map.

For use cases that require higher accuracy or more reliable location data, consider the following alternatives:
