Yes. The Use Internet Gateway option is a setting that applies to the entire Virtual Private Gateway (VPG). When disabled, all IoT SIMs attached to that VPG are prevented from accessing the Internet.
To control Internet access for specific groups of SIMs, you must separate them into different VPGs:
- Create two VPGs: one with Use Internet Gateway enabled, and one with it disabled.
- Create two Groups, attaching one to each VPG.
- Assign your IoT SIMs to the appropriate Group based on whether they require Internet access.
When Use Internet Gateway is disabled, you can still use Soracom Canal, Direct, Door, or Gate to connect your IoT SIMs to your private network.
